'Do you think we could be Beyonce's backing band while she's in Melbourne?'

I've been looking forward to work today for awhile, as I had  two hour rehearsal with all my woodwind students from two schools to prepare four items I'd arranged for a big concert in a couple of weeks. 41 flute, clarinet and saxophone students all enjoying their music together!

The four songs the students have been learning are 'Lady Madonna', 'Eye of the Tiger', 'Another One Bites the Dust' and 'Crazy in Love'. As Beyonce is currently in Melbourne, one of my flute students suggested that we could promote ourselves as her backing band for 'Crazy in Love'. Am very proud of how it all went and look forward to the concert :).

Food wise I had a great day too. We had a special morning tea at school so I had two Anzac biscuits and kept my yoghurt for tomorrow - no great problem there! Dinner was another Biggest Loser Club recipe too - Vietnamese Fish and Vegies.

My Tuesday workout is normally one of two things I really enjoy - boot camp or playing with a friend's netball team. Today I decided to do both :). Boot camp involved running up and down the stairs at Windy Hill and we won our netball game 31-17.

                                              1. Running up and down the stairs at Windy Hill

                                               2. We won 31-17 at netball and I enjoyed playing Goal Keeper

Tomorrow brings a long day of classroom teaching and my Wednesday free yoga class!
